Mrs. GREEN APPLE column, "LAPOSTA 2025" report
"Pia Music Complex (PMC) Vol. 35" is now on sale, with ONE OK ROCK on the cover and in the lead feature.
This issue features ONE OK ROCK, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary and have released their first new album in about two and a half years, "DETOX", in a 48-page feature. The lead interview features solo interviews with Taka, Toru, Ryota, and Tomoya, and we talked extensively about everything from their world tour "ONE OK ROCK 2024 PREMONITION WORLD TOUR", which attracted about 190,000 people last year and was held at arenas and stadiums, to their album "DETOX". In addition to the valuable testimonials from Rob Cavallo, producer and co-manager who has won multiple Grammy Awards, and Pete Nappi, producer who recorded the No. 1 spot in the US, the testimonials from 10 people involved in their live shows and albums, both in Japan and overseas, including DAIDAI (Paledusk) from Japan, Kazuma Kitada, director of the music video for "Dystopia," and Kazutaka Iida, producer of the popular drama "Mikami Sensei," are must-reads. Starting in April, they will embark on a world tour with "DETOX," which will be the largest in the band's history. We will delve into the overwhelming energy and passion that has caused this global sensation from various angles. Please look forward to the results of the survey submitted by readers.
This is the first time that sumika will appear on PMC, and we will be interviewing them about their 5th full album "Vermillion's," which includes all the songs released since "Starting Over" and 8 new songs. SCANDAL, who have been releasing digital music for three consecutive months since January and are showing energetic movements leading up to the EP "LOVE, SPARK, JOY!", we interviewed them about the band's current situation and their enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, including overseas performances.
Jin, who is the talk of the town for the ending theme song of the hit movie "Project SEKAI: The Broken World and Miku Who Can't Sing," talks about his reaction to his first Vocaloid album in 12 years. From GENERATIONS, who will be releasing songs produced by the members for six consecutive months, Nakatsuka Yuta appears and gives us an interview + 10Q. In addition, we will bring you a column by Mrs. GREEN APPLE, who are starting their big project "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS" to celebrate their 10th anniversary, a report on "LAPOSTA 2025," a joint live performance by a total of 43 people including JO1, INI, ME:I, and newcomers such as Aozora I Wanted to See and Re:name, as they each start to move forward in 2025.
